White Heliotrope (Heliotropium peninsulare)

I found this delicate herb growing in woodland on a granitic ridge. The flowers are about 4 mm across. Thanks to Simon for the identification.
White Heliotrope is known only from north Queensland, on Cape York Peninsula (hence 'peninsulare') and adjacent areas.

Love those luminous white stars surrounded by the hairy greenery. A handsome plant. V

Is it a poisonous plant Don? I seem to remember seeing that family listed; but great shot. v

Beautiful, delicate, almost fragile looking. A very fine shot of this uncommon plant. V

Such teeny, tiny, pretty flowers protected by those spiky leaves.
