These are even the same size as plums!
Cribwood is a rainforest tree found only in north Queensland, Australia.
The only reference to edibility of the fruit I have found is that they’re eaten by Cassowaries (large, flightless fruit-eating birds - http://www.pbase.com/donfranklin/image/146397330).
