fig (Ficus sp) planted

I can only guess that this large fig tree on the edge between my home town and the forest has been planted and is a local rainforest or rock-dwelling species.
The fruits are about 1.5 cm diameter. This is not the species of fig that is cultivated as food for people.

other sizes: small medium original auto

These yellow fruits look beautiful between the green leaves - maybe food for animals...

I have never seen figs growing. They look so different in their fresh form. I see an insect on one, can't quite make it out, an ant or wasp?
