For two of these days I explored the beautiful upland forest around the summit of Doi Pui, including a sublime final afternoon on a high ridge where the forest was embracing ancient ruins.
A feature, looking rather out-of-place in a rainforest setting, was the Himalayan Wild Cherry (Prunus cerasoides) in full and glorious bloom.
