Part of ballooning is the unpredictability of the weather.
Wind speed and direction play a big part in whether or not
the balloons will launch. Unfortunately, as of this time,
the weather hasn't been the best and there hasn't been a
launch the past two days. With one day left before the event ends,
I'm hoping for a launch and some good shots.
Day three. This morning, the weather was perfect for a launch
and most of the balloonists present at the festival came to launch.
One good day and the previous two days of inclement weather
were quickly forgotten as I watched the balloons silently float skyward.
