This shot was taken at sunset from the balcony of the bed and breakfast I stayed at
just outside of a village, name forgotten, some miles south of Munich, Germany.
From my vantage point, it looked very much like a scene in the US.
However, when trying to order dinner in the village, I soon discovered it was quite different.
The menu was in German, no surprise, and no one spoke English.
I ate some whitish and somewhat tasteless sausage with potates.
Great dessert, though. And isn't that what life is all about?
