2003 to present- Retired and creating and exhibiting art at art festivals and galleries all across the United States

One of the earliest employees in the art boutique that became Kansas City’s largest inter-net
and traditional agency in under 10 years.
Hired as a designer/graphic artist partner, I became creative group head and finally Creative Director. Handled all traditional advertising on all major accounts such as Sprint, Northwest Airlines, H&R Block and numerous others.
Oversaw Traffic and Print Production

1972-1993-Valentine/Radford Advertising
Hired as Art Director but within two years became Vice-President and stock holder.
Promoted to Associate Creative Director/Creative Services Director (supervised Traffic and Print Production)
Promoted to Creative Director

1969-1972-Travis/Walz/Lane
Hired as Art Director. At the time of my departure I was also Creative Director and Print Production Manager.

FORMAL EDUCATION:
University of Illinois-Urbana, Illinois
BFA in Advertising Design with minor in Anthropology
Earned way through college on scholarship and jobs such as designer at the University’s television station
and as a draftsman at a local engineering company.
