In late March of '67 I flew to Vietnam on TWA and back to the US a year later on Braniff, with an R&R flight on Pan-Am in-between. The stewardesses were young, pretty and very compassionate on all the flights. It was a tough job for those air crews, but they were wonderful.

As a "LOFTLEIDIR" stewardess, I was departing to work the outbound flight from JFK to Rekjavik in the spring of 1971, when the inbound crew from Rekjavik arrived and we exchanged conversation. The stewardess on the left was French and married to the Loftleidir offical photograher Mr. Carlson. The stewardess on the right was my friend. I remember how excited she was telling me she just had her photo taken holding an airplane with Claudia. I thought it would be a silly picture. Guess not.
