1940's - Tropical Hobbyland Indian Village

NW 27th Avenue and 15th Street, Miami, Florida view map

Thank to to Alvin Lederer for contributing this image from a postcard. This tourist attraction operated from the 1930's through the 1950's.

The back of the postcard states: "New Front For Tropical Hobbyland - Climaxing ten years of leadership as Miami's foremost tourist attraction is this face-lifting of the entrance to Tropical Hobbyland, N. W. 27th Avenue at 15th Street. Built of native Florida stone and woods, and beautifully landscaped, the structure is entirely in keeping with Hobbyland's position as Florida's finest zoological garden and Seminole Indian Village."
