1940's - U. S. Navy Sub Chaser SC1014 in Government Cut

Government Cut, Miami, Florida

Thank you to Parks Masterson for contributing this great old image of a Navy sub-chaser coming back in Government Cut with County Causeway (now MacArthur Causeway) in the background. Parks says that the Navy had a Sub-Chaser School in Miami during World War II to train crewmen how to man them and that his dad attended this school before being sent to the Pacific.
