Thank you to Dorothy Mendelson Spon, formerly of Hialeah, for contributing this great old photo. Dorothy is first on the left in the front row on the left corner. Since Hialeah would not have their own high school until 1954, kids from Hialeah attended several other high schools in Dade County and Dorothy went to Miami Edison Senior High along with some other Hialeah kids.

Not the band. Nationally reknown Cadettes modeled after the cadets at the Naval Academy.

i remember this.. my brother was in the HHS marching band and he graduated 1964. I personally went to HML and was born and raised in Hialeah. My dad was a Dade County Police Officer and retired from there. Many fond memories
