When I was a young boy my family would put our family boat in the water at Dinner Key. Several times we would watch the USCG fly HU-16 and the HH-52 aircraft from their Dinner Key base. It was a truely outstanding day for me when we were able to watch them fly. Fast forward twenty years and I am flying an HH-52 out of Opa-lacka air station as an Army helicopter pilot on a observation mission with the USCG. I felt so fortunate to be able to be on that flight.

It was a HH-52A out of Dinner Key which picked up James Bond from one of the Ragged Keys in Gold Finger.
