Palm Springs Middle School is in the background. I think the high bars were relocated from just east of the former basketball court to this corner area. The athletic field looks like it is in bad shape, especially after the rainy season. What a shame that the school system and the city never planted shade trees in the swale areas and along the fence line 40 or 50 years ago because it would be a beautiful tree-lined shady area instead of looking like it did in 1957.
