I threw a fit when my mother bought one of these and had it decorated with pink ornaments. The most horendous thing I had ever seen. She took it down and it was never seen again.

We had on that was decorated just like this with a train going around under it. I never understood a silver tree with blue balls, but it was tradition.

The originals in good to great condition are selling for massive$ to collectors.

I have a great one up right now. Originally, they were meant to have only the color wheel, and no ornaments. Mine, however, has about 400 ornaments hanging on it, and it looks good.
