1951 - National Airlines President George T. Baker, American's VP-Sales R. S. Deichler and Delta's President C. E. Woolman

Miami, Florida

Left to right: George T. Baker, President of National Airlines, R. S. Deichler, Vice President-Sales for American Airlines, and C. E. Woolman, President of Delta Air Lines, with the route map for the "no-change-of-plane" service to the West and California for Florida residents on April 29, 1951. National, American and Delta became partners in the "tradewinds" interchange flights. Each airline supplied crewmembers over their own segments of the route (Miami to New Orleans, New Orleans to Dallas, Dallas to Los Angeles and Dallas to San Francisco) and take turns supplying DC-6 equipment as seasonal traffic peaks permit.
