No, I’m not 168 years old. I just can’t talk and walk at the same time!

I am glad Nick found this picture. I married a gal that lived at NW 54 Terrace and 13 Ave. We married in 1858 and both are live and still kickin. Dave & Dot.

Hi I'm Nick, Tom's son and Barbara's nephew.

I found a pic of the front of the Drive In if you want to post it...

I have been there so many times and my family from Georgia always wanted to go there. I will always remember the fabulous hot dogs.

Tom and Barbara... You must certainly remember Allied Signs down the street from your Dad's place... Al Eckhardt (or his former partner, "Brownie") took the picture. Brownie owned Knox Signs, and Al bought in as a partner to form Allied-Knox. When Brownie passed away, Al bought out his widow. Al passed away a few year ago...

Thank you Tom and Guest for the address correction to 13th Avenue. Also thank you Tom, Barbara and Gail for adding your comments about how good it was.

I am Barbara's older and smarter brother. Foot long hot dogs and Fried Shrimp were the special items, Hoppers Liquor Store that is also in the picture was also his in t5he 60's. The correct address was 13 Ave. and NW 54 Street. This picture was taken on the 13 ave side.

Hey everyone - Jack's was my dad!! and you're right - best foot-long hot dogs and chili you ever had. This foto is not the front that shows the actual drive in - I'll look to see if I have one and send it your way. Thanks for some great memories!!

My grandfather had one of these Rambler's the same year and model as these cabs. I sure would love to have one to drive around town now! Inside they were huge, and very comfortable.
