1976 - DCAD Airfield Agent Craig Reitz and USAF F-4E-33-MC Phantom #AF67-0215

Old Military Ramp, Miami International Airport

Craig was an excellent agent in Airside Operations and as I recall he left in 1977 to pursue a different occupational opportunity. He's wearing the horrible yellow jumpsuit uniform we were issued at the time, which were real fun to maneuver in the mens room stalls when nature called. The Phantom was being fueled so it could depart back to Homestead Air Force Base after diverting into MIA because of thunderstorms at HAFB.

Phantom #67-0215 was exported to Turkey in 1981. Note the Lockheed Constellation parked next to it.

Thanks Armando for your corrections and input on Craig. By the way, Senior Agent Fernando Bernal retired last Friday after 36 years of service.

If you'll take notice the ramp is wet! Called the Old Military ramp, BTw.
The aircraft was diverted to MIA due to a bad thunderstorm over the Homestead area. Craig Reitz left in 1977. He, Earl Pomeroy and I were the original Guinea pigs at the old 20th st. ramp during the creation of the Gate Assignment stuff.
