Left to right: Don Boyd, Virginia M. O'Regan, Mary Hart, Chris McArthur and Tom Hampton I had picked up Ms. Hart from a helicopter after conclusion of a week of hosting the show Entertainment Tonight from Miami. She had some time to kill before boarding her nonstop Pan Am flight back to Los Angeles, so I asked her what she wanted to do and she asked me "what would you like to do?" After quickly killing the first thought in my mind, I asked her if she would like to see where we assigned gates from and she readily agreed. She was very friendly and talkative with everyone and after quite a while I had to drag her out of there so she wouldn't miss her flight.

Update: the Gate Controllers were relocated from the ground floor of the E-Satellite in January 1992 to the E-Tower (original FAA tower at MIA's 20th Street Terminal) after Pan Am died in December 1991. Pan Am had leased the tower for ramp ops after the FAA moved to the west side of MIA in the mid 80's.
