Loni lived at the BR Ranch at the time up in Jupiter (now in an area called Jupiter Farms) and she used Burt Reynolds' A-Star helicopter to get back and forth to Miami International to catch non-stop flights to Los Angeles/Hollywood. We always gave Logan Fleming, the pilot, a great location to park and provided Loni with a ride to or from her airline flights. Logan was Burt's helicopter pilot, ranch foreman and owner of the ranch next door, and a great guy who used to live a block or two from me in the late 50's and 60's in the unincorporated area surrounded by Hialeah. Logan could see Hialeah was going downhill in the early 70's and he bought property up in Jupiter after serving in the military flying helicopters. Mr. Reynolds ended up buying the adjacent property next door to him and they became good friends.
