1973 - Bob Paget and Pam Dorion

7672 Shalimar Street, Miramar, FL

Bob Paget and I worked at United Airlines together in the first quarter of 1973 along with Rob Greene, Pam's fiance'. Pam and I had worked together at Sears - Northside in 1972 and possibly 1971. Bob later worked for Continental Airlines Cargo and rented a bedroom from me in 1981 and 1982 when I was in between marriages. Bob, where the hell are you now?

Sadly, Pam passed away from breast cancer on October 21, 2007 - see Barry Erdvig's, her brother-in-law, comments below for more details on her life. RIP Pam, thank you for your friendship back in the early 70's.

Just a few months ago I learned of Pam's passing. I played clarinet with her in high school. How sad... Does anyone know how to reach her former husband Rob Greene? I'm planning the 40th high school reunion for the Class of 1969 and would like to notify him of the plans. You can reach me at btc1951@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Betsy

Dr. Pamela Dorion Greene,
Prominent Chiropractor

Dr. Pamela D. Greene, Prominent Lakeland Chiropractor, dies at 54 after a valiant battle with Breast Cancer. Being diagnosed with breast cancer as a newlywed at the age of 22, Pamela D. Greene forged ahead with her life and career. Born in Ayer, Massachusetts in 1953 she was raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated from Miami Carol City High School in 1971, where she was head clarinetist with the marching band and a member of Honoria. Pam attended Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas, graduating in the top ten percent of her class, 1980.

Dr. Greene opened her Lakeland, Florida chiropractic practice in 1981. For many decades she was an advocate of chiropractic, nutritional and alternative therapies, helping many patients and people during her career. Pam faced her illness with humor, courage and a stubborn determination that it would not get the better of her. Despite her cancer diagnosis at a young age, which recurred decades later, she managed to have a life, a son, and a career. Perhaps it is a fitting tribute that Pam's death occurred during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. She was working on a book of hope for breast cancer survivors up till the end. She passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007.

Dr. Greene is survived by her 16 year old son Ryan McConnell of Lakeland, mother Diane E. Dorion of Lakeland, father, Henry E. Dorion of Hollywood, Florida, sisters Michele Erdvig (husband Barry Erdvig), of Roswell, Georgia, Chris Tyler (husband, Mike Tyler) of Lakeland, and Lisa Ramirez (husband George Ramirez) of Haverhill, Florida, brother Al Dorion of Hollywood, Florida, nieces Jessica Butler (children Autumn and Christopher) and Julie Tyler of Lakeland, nephew Shaun Tyler, ( wife, Jessica Tyler) of Brandon, Florida.

I'm glad to hear that Rob got on with a good airline. I last saw him in the 90's when he visited me on the job at MIA. I'm very sorry to hear that Pam died - she and I worked at Sears when Rob was in Viet Nam. She told me about United hiring when Rob came back and Rob and I ended up working together at United. My condolences to her family. Don
