This was purported to be the second McDonald's in Dade County; the first being the one on NW 7th Street. Years later the restaurant relocated into the 127th Street Shopping Center [near the Publix on Biscayne Boulevard] where it is still operating.
Ironically, that Publix - the first in Dade County (1959) - will be torn down within the next few months, as a newer, more modern store in presently under construction.
