Thank you to Michael Martin, Herb's nephew, for providing this great historical image of Herb Tillman, Hialeah Speedway's first race winner in July 1954, posing with the unidentified last race winner on the last evening of racing in 2004. Local driver Herb Tillman, driving George Nelson's 1934 Ford coupe modified, won the opening day feature event. If anyone knows the identity of the last winner, on the right, please let me know so I can acknowledge him.
