Peter Leigh, from London, is a 20-year friend of mine and he was on one of his last legs of a four month, 68,000 mile trip around the world with stops at Frankfurt, Ethiopia, Capetown and Johannesburg, Mumbai, Japan, China, Singapore, Sydney, Auckland, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, a few Central American cities, Bogota, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Cordova, Rio, a few more South American cities then on to Miami and then to Washington, DC, Toronto, Winnipeg and then back to Europe.
