Carl and I go back in time to the summer of 1957 when both of our families moved into the same neighborhood close to Palm Springs Junior High School. I used to hang out from time to time with Carl's older brother David until he left Hialeah High in 1964 to join the Army and serve in Vietnam. Carl served on active duty in the U. S. Navy after graduation from Hialeah High.
