2016 - historic vertical lift Parker through truss bridge over Miami Canal from Miami Springs to Hialeah

Miami Canal, Miami Springs, Florida

Photo taken during the 2016 River Cities Festival. The weights used to lift the bridge from roadway level to above boats were removed years ago to prevent people from getting killed if they fell from near the top of the bridge. This bridge was constructed in 1930.
