Thank to to Mary Wishart Sands for posting this 1983 Miami News article with the 1934 photo of Little River on Facebook. I spent hours restoring this image to like-new condition so that it is more attractive to the eye. The Rosetta Theatre, loved and patronized by many old Miami kids including me, is on the right side and just beyond it is Royal Castle's first restaurant. I remember seeing many movies at the Rosetta from 1952 to 1956 because they had a "Summer Movie Club" for kids and I spent many summer days there because my aunt Norma bought me the summer movie club tickets. My dad and I also had many breakfasts at Royal Castle #1 after Sunday Mass at St. Mary's Church, later St. Mary's Cathedral, until we moved to a new home in the Palm Springs section of Hialeah in June 1957.
