1960's - Paley's Restaurant and Kentucky Fried Chicken somewhere in Miami

2590 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida

Thank you to Stan Meade for contributing this great old image of one of the Paley's Restaurants in Miami. The marquee sign says "Shrimp Dinner $1.25" Thank you to Bruce Hirsh, a good ol' Hialeah boy, for tracking down the address of the restaurant.

There was also a Paley's Big Wheel restaurant in SW Miami (Flagler St and SW 57th Ave.) I ate there often. They revolutionized curb-hop service using an intercom system during the mid '50s.

I remember the Paley's Big Wheel Drive-In Restaurant & KFC at SW 32nd Ave just off Coral Way-late 50's, and through the 60's.

Hi, Don--
I thought it might be fun to try and figure out the location of this restaurant. And it WAS fun. The address is 2590 Biscayne Boulevard.
