I had been feeding his pregnant mother for a few weeks who wouldn't let me touch her and hissed at me all the time. She didn't come around for a few days and I assumed she was having her kittens somewhere. She came back and I fed her almost every night and she continued to hiss at me. A few weeks later she brought two or three kittens with her and after a while I took a liking to the black one and adopted him so he could have a good life. Little did I know at the time that his good life would be short and that he would pass away in October 2011. When we adopted him we initially thought it was a female kitty and named her "Gloria" after our next door neighbor but when we took it to the vet she told us we had a little boy so we named him "Eddie" after our next door neighbor's husband but we never called him that as we couldn't break the "Little Kitty" name calling.
