Mark, I think I was in the first row on the left side (seat 1A) of this Delta DC-7B flight in 1961 judging from the angle from the engines: http://www.pbase.com/airlinerphotos/image/30152266 I really wanted to fly a DC-8 up to Chicago but our housekeeper, who was taking me on the trip to visit her family, talked me into taking the DC-7B because they were disappearing fast from the big airlines fleets.

I remember flying n a Delta DC-7B in 1957. I sat by the second window (the one with the red outline).
