the Tee house was not entirely demolished and is now the Community center in Legion Park. The City is beginning renovations by architect M C Harry. If anyone has information or pictures and plans please contact me.

Tea House Plantation was in Lemon City, which with the town of Little River to the north and Buena Vista to the south were annexed by Miami in 1925. The building, located on the bay at Sixty-fifth Street, was the home of William B. Ogden and later Ed Ballard. The architect apparently was Walter DeGarmo, a prominent architect responsible for many buildings in the Miami area. The Historical Museum of Southern Florida has a Guide to the Walter C. DeGarmo - Architectural Drawings. it lists "item #79 Residence including alterations and additions for W. B. Ogden, Tee House, Lemon City, 1909. 7 architectural drawings : ink on linen.”

In 1934 it became The American Legion Harvey Seeds Post 29. At some time additions were made as a post card is online at centennial.legion.org/florida/post29/gallery/harvey-seeds-historical-photos dating perhaps to the 40s shows considerable additions.

The former Tea House was apparently demolished in 1966 to build a larger structure which itself was demolished September 12, 2016.
