I worked for Steve and his partners for 7-1/2 years. Steve was also the co-founder of TK Records in Hialeah along with Henry Stone.

The TK family of labels had the "Miami Sound", which featured Betty Wright, KC & the Sunshine Band, Bobby Caldwell, Anita Ward, George and Gwen McCrae, Clarence "Blowfly" Reid and numerous other acts.

Steve's partners are Ron and Howard Albert - the former chief engineers and vice-presidents of Criteria Recording Studios. They've worked with Eric Clapton, The James Gang, Aretha Franklin, Brook Benton, and dozens of others.

Steve Alaimo is also known for composing "Sweet Melissa", which was recorded by the Allman Brothers. He shares credit on that song with Gregg Allman.

Additionally, Steve own music publishing interests. One of the top songs in his catalog is the co-ownership of "What You Won't Do for Love" - recorded by Bobby Caldwell - a song that's received OVER three million plays on the radio!

Originally a medical student at the University of Miami, Steve built a local following with his band "The Redcoats", and became a life-long friend of Dick Clark when his band substituted in a pinch for a no-show group that Clark had needed for a show here in Miami.

A local favorites on the WINZ and WQAM charts in the late 50's and early 60's, Steve was tapped by Clark to co-host the afternoon music show "Where the Action Is" along with Linda Scott and their "house band"... Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Some of the record labels Steve has recorded for over the years were Checker, ABC-Paramount, Atco and Entrance.

After the demise of TK Records, Steve hooked up wtih Ron and Howard Albert to form Vision Records and Audio Vision Studios in 1987. They scored big with a million-selling CD by Betty Wright entitled "Mother Wit".

Placing the label on hiatus because to the constant change in the music industry, Steve and his partners are active with running Audio Vision Studios in North Miami.
