Thank you to Drew Mosher for contributing this great 90-year old image of his grandfather (b>Joseph George Carpenter standing with a Curtiss JN-4B Jenny. According to his grandmother Charles Lindbergh was one of Mr. Carpenter's flight students at one point in time.

Joseph George Carpenter was born in England in March, 1894 and died in Connecticut in July, 1960.
