Palm Springs North - Dade County, Florida

The Country Club of Miami's South Course is on the right side. The infamous grade level entrance/exit to the Palmetto Expressway at the Big Curve is also removed now that NW 169th Street goes through to NW 67th Avenue. Palm Springs North was built by R&R Construction, which previously built the Palm Springs section of west Hialeah, Palm Springs Shopping Center and Palm Springs Mile which runs from W. 4th Avenue to W. 12th Avenue on W. 49th Street in Hialeah.

Yes, R & R Construction...I remember that. My parent's house was on W. 55th Place between 10th Ave & 12th Ave, also know as Ludlem Rd. Back in 1955, W. 12th Ave was as far west as you could go. An abandoned farm house and silo were west of us. Lovell Homes came a few years later on the west side of 12th Ave.
