"Fit for a King." This restaurant was owned by Mr. Wayne Arnold, Hialeah High Class of 1958 graduate, and reopened in January 2009 after being closed and rebuilding it after a large kitchen fire. The original building dates back to 1956. The hamburgers and the birch beer sure taste the same as the original Royal Castles. The telephone number is 305-MU8-5344.

Update May 2014: Wayne Arnold apparently sold the property to Sean Combs who spent a lot of money fixing up the restaurant and parking lot. Combs re-opened the restaurant on Memorial Day weekend as "Finga Licking" at Royal Castle. That information is from a Miami Herald story based on an Instagram from Sean Combs.

Update May 2017: Wayne Arnold passed away at his home on May 6, 2017. Rest In Peace Thoroughbred Wayne, thank you for years of providing us with those really tasty Royal Castle hamburgers.

Shame it's closed now. Mr. Arnold had a neat place but his management didn't keep up. After years of going there it's now open under another name and theme. Thanks for trying. Only the BEST memories when it comes to Royal Castle.

Royal Castle on NW 125th Street and 7th Avenue is closed. The final remaining unit in operation is the one on the site of the old Frnak 'n' Bun Drive In... NW 79th Street and 27th Avenue.

Checked out this Royal Castle last weekend (Saturday, May 21).

Again the castle burgers were tasty and I also tried the Fanta brand birch beer

I remember this place. Ate here many times with my mom while waiting on the city bus. I can't beleive it's still there. Nothing was quite as good as that cold birch beer in the frosted mug! Oh Yeah!

I've Been Here Like 4 times, Recently, and it's Real Good. It's Very Close, about 95 % The same as The Old Singer Royal Castles. The Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, and Birch Beer, are About the Same, but They Have No Royal Castle Honeybuns, that The Originals had, and I Loved those, and they have Chicken, and some other Extras, that the Old Royal Castles, Run By The Company Of MR. Singer, did not have. But Overall, it's a Good Place, and I will Keep on Going there.
