This is an interesting photo to look at because the Gratigny Expressway is starting construction in the lower left corner and the northwest corner of the Palmetto Expressway and NW 154th Street is still undeveloped but it looks like the Lovell Brothers' Royal Oaks housing development is underway and the Royal Oaks shopping center site has been filled in for impending construction. Of course this scene was prior to the west side of the Palmetto Expressway being overdeveloped and traffic being gridlocked during peak hours of the day.
