Downtown Miami, Florida

From the archives description: "On the occasion of the christening of the Florida East Coast Railway's new streamlined train, the "Henry M. Flagler", Mayor E. G. Sewell of Miami (left) shakes hands with Mayor G. S. Blume of Jacksonville (right) celebrating the linking of the two cities by new daily streamlined service. Standing in the background are S. M. Loftin (left), and W. R. Kenan, Jr. (right), receivers of the Florida East Coast Railway." The photo was a gift to the archives from Richard C. Beall.

The FEC downtown railway station was located at NW 3rd Street and 1st Avenue. It was razed in 1964.

Does anyone know if W. R. Kenan was related by marriage to Henry Flagler? IIRC, Flagler's second wife was a Kenan from Kenansville, NC.
