The stairwell coming out from the corner cafeteria used to be solid concrete or stucco from one level to the next, rounded on the edges to prevent scratches and cuts. There used to be a large patch of white sand from that stairwell out to the left for ten or fifteen feet. The driveway and parking lot wasn't there at all as I recall - it used to be grass field there.
