When the water of most local lakes is iced-over, Dawson's Mill Pond (Beaudette Park) remains open because of the river water flowing thru it.
Here you can see Ring-necked Ducks, Common Goldeneyes, Canvasbacks, a couple of Redheads, and a Bufflehead. (Hey! You just gotta go out and buy a bird field guide!!!
