Anyone know of an "Ugly Bird Contest" I can enter? I win! This Common Grackle has been at our feeders for a week! I call him our "Vulture Grack". Vultures do not have many feathers on their head or neck because they are always sticking their heads into dead bodies for dinner and they really want to be clean and socially acceptable. This grackle knows he is weird - he never comes around with the rest of the grackles. Oh the woes of the teenage years! If you thought pimples were bad, how about this?
