I was there in 62 & 63. I was a comm. tech (2152 comm det.), worked on all the radio and tropo gear. What a great place to be stationed. Scuba diving every weekend and buying San Miguel beer from the Coast Guard for a dime a bottle. I think I was being paid 99$ a month at that time. I was a volunteer fireman and lived in the fire station before it was wrecked. I was promoted to E4 there in less than 2 years in service. Thanks for the memories. Lloyd Tadd now 74 yrs old.
