The Power Plant had seven 100KW diesel generator sets. We ran a two buss operation. The Tech buss supplied power to the radar equipment. The base buss supplied power to the barracks, mess hall, NCO Club, orderly room and all other non mission-essential types.

We ran two of these units on the tech buss 24 hours a day. We ran three units on the base buss from around 4AM until about 11PM. From 11PM till 4AM we would only run two units on the base buss.
