Years ago when pictures were becoming colorized, they had this distinctive look.
Faded over time as they age, they get what we now call a vintage or retro look. Here, I am recreating that look with selected photographs that I believe fit the mold because of the subject.
This is a fun project to work on as I select photos to use for the effect.
Most these have been scanned from original 4 x 6 prints, however, I am working on some digital ones now.
BTW some photos that were scanned from storage needed no adjustments.
