My ship while in Massawa Eritrea. Living on board ship for 4 months with men from Kenya, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Philippines, and usually a couple of locals
was the best lesson in diversity imaginable.
My ships were always a safe, clean, happy ship. I started on the deck and worked my way up to Master.
It was more than a job it was my life.
