The Oasis gas station really is in the middle of nowhere. No longer there, it was
supposedly a movie set for a movie filmed in Ft. Davis, Texas. I do not know if it was once
a real station or not. Some say it was just for the movie, but it sits 40 or 45 miles from
the nearest town. Seem like something closer to town would have been better if they built
only for the movie.
