Sadly some organization have desecrated the flag of the Confederate States of America by representing it for hateful purposes. The flag shown here was not a battle flag, but the CSofA flag. History lessons taught in public schools misrepresent the truth of the nature and reason for the war. In college we were told the truth of how the North was over taxing and bleeding the South's economy. Slavery became an issue, but was not the reason for the war. My ancestors were slave owners. It was a fact of the times. I never owned one, but at times have felt I was one. Accept history for what it is, get over it, but try to see the bad is never repeated. Think for yourself, do not let the government think for you, as many do right now, or America will be once again a nation of slaves.
