After a strong norther comes through the states it then crosses 600 miles of
of gulf waters to the Yucatan. By the time it arrives the swells
have built up to 25 plus feet and the wind blows at tropical storm strength
or above. All we can do is hold on and ride it out if we are not allowed
to go to port.
