Life Lessons

Lesson 1: Bodily functions are no longer repulsive.	Lesson 2: I discovered an inner strength I never thought I had.	Lesson 3: Life is even more precious than I ever imagined possible.	Lesson 4: To the world, I may be one person but to one person, I am the world.	Lesson 5: I no longer rely on a clock — Arianna now sets my schedule.
Lesson 6: I cannot remember what life was like before Arianna was born.	Lesson 7: I rediscovered the magic of my shadow and the wonder of blowing leaves.	Lesson 8: I realized that I can love a complete stranger.	Lesson 9: My heart breaks much more easily.	Lesson 10: Sometimes the smallest package can give the biggest love.
Lesson 11: My baby's pain feels much worse than my own.	Lesson 12: Nothing can test the true strength of a marriage like the arrival of a new baby.	Lesson 13: I finally stop to smell the roses, because my baby is in my arms.	Lesson 14: I have newfound respect and love for my parents.	Lesson 15: It is like Christmas morning every morning when my baby girl wakes up and gives me a big ol' grin.
Lesson 16: I never realized how fragile yet resilient babies can be.	Lesson 17: I now know the labor pain I have dreaded my whole life was 100% worth going through!	Lesson 18: My love becomes limitless, a superhuman power.	Lesson 19: I can now befriend complete strangers because we are all enrolled into the "parenthood club".	Lesson 20: I now know for sure that miracles really do happen.
Lesson 21: Babies are the best gifts you will ever get, and the hardest one to unwrap.	Lesson 22:Things I've seen a hundred times appear new when I see them from Arianna's perspective.	Lesson 23: Where I once thought I was fearless, now I find myself afraid.	Lesson 24: Beauty is a gift in youth and an art as we age.	Lesson 25: I believe in love at first sight.
Lesson 26: I finally realized that true joy doesn't come from material wealth.	Lesson 27: I learned that I can sing to Arianna and not feel embarrased.	Lesson 28: I learned that nothing is boring to a baby.	Lesson 29: I learned that every day is a surprise.	Lesson 30: I believe once again in the things I believed in as a child.
Lesson 31: A baby is God's opinion that the world should go on. ~Carl Sandburg	Lesson 32: I go to the mall determined to buy something great for myself, and end up with tonnes of stuff for Arianna instead.	Lesson 33: My appearance becomes less important while my character becomes more important.	Lesson 34: I realized that it isn't about me anymore...and I am ok with that.	Lesson 35: It is when you are least thankful that you are most in need of what gratitutde can give you - perspective.
Lesson 36: Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.
