SOOC JEPGs

For well over a decade I've only shot RAW images. This is a little experiment in
shooting JPEGs on my X100 to help make a decision on whether to ungrade to an
X100V. A lot of people rave about the film simulations in the X100V and I want
to get a sense of whether I would enjoy shooting that way. So far, so good.

I like Velvia and find these to be effective simulations. I like them all and don't mind the shadows - one just needs to mentally adjust from the digitally processed images we've become accustomed to. For me, mood is very important and I often find myself thinking that film still delivers it more effectively. But I'm rambling.

Interesting JPEG 's and cool results. I still use my original X100 in RAW and I love the output of the Fuji Bayer sensor. V

A fun experiment with interesting and revealing results. I have enjoyed my X100V thus far and the film simulations are all very good depending on your taste and subject matter. I have yet to shoot in RAW but I find the JPEGs that come out of Fujifilms are very good. V
