"Drop it!"
"I can't hear you."

About a month ago she discovered a dead deer in the woods by the edge of the ball field.
In spite of my efforts she has managed to sneak back to it a couple of times. Here she is
running with something in her mouth, which I later confirmed to be a piece of deer bone.

At the time this photo was taken I was yelling at her to "drop it". She knew full well
what I was getting at, and you can see from her expression that she knew that I had no
chance of catching up to her. She has never been punished for any of her behaviors - at
least not since we adopted her - and she sometimes takes advantage of that policy.

She's being naughty here, but on the whole she is a pretty well-behaved dog.

Plus - have you ever tasted deer bone? I heard it's delicious (NOT) . Great shot of her in action. ~BV~

The selective hearing of an athlete. She's going full speed.

I'm sure she just didn't hear you, otherwise she would return immediately...

Well, she had a forbidden prize and wasn’t going to stop for anybody, even you!

Something about those female dogs. Callie can be a little snot sometimes, too.

a deer bone could be too tasty to abandon, so why would she listen to yyou...of course you can't catch her, as we see she can fly..
