West Coast Problems

It appears that efforts are underway to repair this house.
To the right of the house you can see a rotted timber that
was probably part of the foundation. If the timbers get
too wet for too long a time they soften up, and that's
when the carpenter ants move in.

Looks like a big job to replace that foundation.

I hope it can be salvaged. I know from experience how destructive those ants can be.
